Three joint seminars will be organised to improve the University of Lisbon’s capacity to link research excellence to the market and business community, by showing successful cooperation experiences between academia and local business stakeholders in Living Labs and other positive initiatives. Each thematic seminar will focus on a specific topic:
- Seminar 1 in Maastricht, the Netherlands: Active ageing, health and Living Lab. Good practices and experience from e.g. the Human Performance Lab will be brought.
- Seminar 2 in Leuven, Belgium: Health technologies. Good practices and experience from e.g. the InnoVAGE Living Lab.
- Seminar 3 in Macerata, Italy: a) active ageing, tourism and interdisciplinary/inter-sectoral approach. Good practices and experience from e.g. best practice mechanisms for cooperation between social and human sciences researchers and business sector; b) peer review session to develop a strategic plan for how to link research excellence to business community needs.
